Each weekend during the scheduled run of this show one of the artists showing was featured live in person at the Gravity Feed Gallery located at 1959 Shattuck. Not only was it a blast for us to hang out but it was a great way for all the artists to connect with some of our neighbors in down town (funky-Like) Berkeley, Calif. It was also a great opportunity for the artists themselves to get all (organic) juiced up and inspired for the next work of brilliance. We're located Just a block and a half North of the BART right schmack in the middle of downtown. (MAP) Look for the giant target on the front of the building or just give us a call for directions at...

Our InternetJuice Gallery Hours are,

Tue-Sat 9:00am to 6:00pm

Gravity Feed started from an ideal of health. Two men talking over a counter, one making juices, the other drinking them. Together they came to the (now) age-old conclusion that plastics and other man-made petrochemical contaminants spoil our water, our earth, and ourlives at the most basic level, “hand-to-mouth”. They are ultimately tossed back to the earth in the form of thousands of landfills full of these contaminants all over the planet. These men also realized that between the two of them, they had the resources to make a thrust towards changing this destructive cycle on a local level. Create a place that makes an all organic beverage served in a container that is organically created by a human being out of molten sand (an organic substance) and then simply don’t throw the container away.

James Lane and Steve Nechodom are the owners of the Gravity feed and believers in the aforementioned struggle. Read all about them and why they do this thing

* ... Freshly spun simply means, We put the fruit or vegetables in aNutrafaster Juice extractor and that incredible machine spins and mulches the fruit or vegetables at 3200 RPM's and thus turns them into an active, almost creamy juice that is un-matched in the juicing industry.

**John Barth quote. I like John Barth and I quote him as much as I can but I don't think I can remember what book the weather quote comes from. I think it's from Sabbatical, but I'm not really sure.
