John and Linda were our friends
who had a beautiful chicken farm just outside of Blaine. We
would "ChickenSit" when they would go out of town
and we just loved it! This is a shot of the Chicken Coup.
...Went up Mt Baker in November
of 2000 and had a blast! I shot this picture at the very end
of the road! We hiked back in the woods about a half mile and
shot this perfect virgin snow. It was so quite that all we could
do was just sit there and listen to the water.
...Looked like at 6:00am on a nice
day! Mt. Baker was a good reason to row across Draton Harbor
every morning. Another good reason were my two friends Popeye
and Olive, the two adult Harbor Seals that fallowed me across
the harbor every morning!

We used to go to White Rock, BC.
all the time just to "Get out of Country!", get some
cheep Sushi and walk along the waterfront park that looked at
Blaine, Wa. from across a watery border.
In our wake we left some really
good friends and one of our best home ports yet! To Eric and
Megan,John and Linda, Nick and Nicolas, Meg and Brad and all
the great people in the Office of the Northern Light and the
