| The
Plumbing
on this vessel is as ship-shape as I've ever
seen on any boat ready for offshore cruising.
Sapien has two 12 volt pumps dedicated to water flow:
(Forward, under the V-berth)

1) is the primary pump assigned to fresh (potable)
water from the 60 gal tank located to the left of the above
frame. [After the 20 day sail to the Big Island from mainland
USA we found we still had over a half tank of water left. We
did take all of our showers in the brine and we washed all of
our dishes with raw water and rinsed them with fresh. It worked
famously!]
2) is a raw water wash down pump connected to a hose line on
the deck. (In the future I think we will scrap the raw water
wash down idea for a water maker using the same thru-hull as
the current raw water input.)

For our marine head we have a special feature
that I've never seen on any other vessel before. We have a choice
of three settings for our waste flow:

1) Into the holding tank.
2) Overboard.
3) Hand pump from holding tank to overboard
